NORFOLK-AREA TRAINERS [ top ]
The Moore Group is actively seeking contract application trainers for the Norfolk-Hampton Roads area. Previous training experience, strong presentation skills, and latest software application skills required.

Applications trainers needed who:

  • are highly motivated, enthusiastic and can effectively communicate to and train all user levels.
  • are computer literate and comfortable in teaching software, particularly Microsoft Office products.
  • have at least two years training/teaching experience.

Capabilities/Duties: Demonstrated ability to provide end-user training on application software. Demonstrated ability to prepare routine training materials, including workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course evaluation forms.

Salary: Commensurate with experience

INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER [ top ]
The Moore Group is actively seeking experienced contract Instructional System Designers to conduct analysis of and design for static and interactive courseware developed for technical training programs. The Instructional System Designer shall provide needs analysis, audience analysis, job/task analysis, learning objectives, learning measures, learning strategies, flow diagrams, lesson specifications (outlines), and storyboards. The Instructional System Designer shall interact with subject matter experts, authoring specialists, graphic artists, and customer technical representatives to ensure sound application of the instructional strategy design. The Instructional System Designer shall review and verify the instructional design throughout the training development process, and shall provide instructional systems design training for the training development team.

Instructional Designers needed who:

  • have three years recent experience (within the last five years) in instructional systems design, which should include analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of interactive courseware training curricula directly related to technical training requirements
  • have one year experience functioning in a team environment (acting as a team leader), and developing training.
  • are computer literate and comfortable in teaching software, particularly Microsoft Office products.
  • have a Bachelor’s degree in instructional technology, instructional systems design, or a closely related field.

Capabilities/Duties: Demonstrated ability to develop training manuals and CBT’s for end-user training on application software.

D.C.-AREA TRAINER [ top ]
The Moore Group is actively seeking Washington, D.C.-based application trainers for a variety of commercial and federal projects.

Applications trainers needed who:

  • are highly motivated, enthusiastic and can effectively communicate to and train all user levels within various environments.
  • can relate to and motivate a diverse and multi-cultural user population.
  • are computer literate and comfortable in teaching software.
  • have at least three years training/teaching experience.
  • exercise independent judgment needed to resolve problems encountered in the field.

Capabilities/Duties: Demonstrated ability to plan and provide end-user training or training on business process improvements and other procedures with minimal oversight. Demonstrated ability to prepare routine training materials. Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars. Some travel may be required.

The Moore Group is actively seeking project managers to assess needs and oversee implementation of various projects worldwide. Must be self-starter with strong time management and written and verbal skills. Previous training manager or project manager experience required.

Project Managers needed who:

  • can develop and lead cohesive, highly-functioning project teams.
  • can build rapport and strong relationships with clients.
  • can successfully manage multiple resources that are separate geographically.
  • have at least three years project management experience. Training experience a plus.
  • exercise independent judgment needed to resolve problems encountered in the field.

Capabilities/Duties: Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and manage resources for various training implementation projects. Previous training experience highly desirable, and previous project management experience required. Extensive travel may be required.
